Front Desk Agent

At the Vedder River Inn we aim to provide excellent customer service to all our esteemed guests. Our front desk team is currently looking for a part time agent who is caring and passionate about customer service.

Role:

  • Provide warm and professional guest service
  • Attend to phone and email queries in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Booking guest reservations over the phone and via email, and managing reservations from online travel agencies and the hotel’s website
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the front desk
  • Work closely with the other departments (including housekeeping and maintenance departments)
  • Be open to continuous development, learning and team building skills

Required skills:

  • Good time management and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in customer service is an asset

Housekeeping Attendant

At the Vedder River Inn we aim to provide excellent customer service to all our esteemed guests. Our housekeeping team is currently looking for a part time housekeeper who is caring and passionate about customer service.
Role:
  • Provide warm and professional guest service
  • Provide daily cleaning services in guest rooms
  • Keep laundry rooms and carts clean and organized
  • Participate in cleaning of public areas of the hotel
  • Work closely with other departments (including front desk and maintenance departments)
Required skills:
  • Good time management and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in customer service is an asset

Lead Laundry Attendant

At the Vedder River Inn we aim to provide excellent customer service to all our esteemed guests. Our laundry team is currently looking for a full time and part time laundry person who is caring and passionate about customer service.
Role:
  • Provide warm and professional guest service
  • Run the laundry department (sort through linen cleaning, folding and organizing)
  • Restock laundry rooms with supplies
  • Keep laundry rooms and carts clean and organized
  • Assist in the room check process
  • Participate in cleaning of public areas of the hotel
  • Work closely with other departments (including front desk and maintenance departments)
Required skills:
  • Good time management and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry operations is an asset

Maintenance Staff

At the Vedder River Inn we aim to provide excellent guest rooms to all our esteemed guests. Our maintenance department is currently looking for a full time maintenance person who is passionate about keeping the buildings, public spaces and guest rooms well maintained and looking new.
Role:
  • Provide warm and professional guest service
  • Work closely with management to complete property and grounds maintenance
  • Keeping maintenance/electrical rooms clean and organized
Required skills:
  • Good time management and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in maintenance operations is an asset
